Trinity Kids

Children's ministry

Trinity Church has Sunday School for children ages 3-10 each week during the school year at 9:00 AM, during the elective study classes for men and women.

Kids start Sunday School with worship before breaking off into their different age groups, each group being represented by an animal.

The Butterfly group is for 3-5 year olds

The Parrot group is for 6-8 year olds

The Lion group is for 9-10 year olds

After worship, kids join their age group and head to three different "station" classes - Bible Study/Snack Station, a Craft Station, and an Activity Station. Each station uses a different format of reiterating that week's Bible Story.

Starting Fall of 2015, and continuing through the Fall of 2018, Trinity Kids is using The Gospel Project for Kids as our Sunday School curriculum. It is a three-year study that walks kids through the entirety of the Bible, and brings it all back to God's saving grace, through His Son, Jesus. Every week, we teach your kids a different lesson, and every week we end the lesson with how Jesus and His death on the cross relates to that story in the Bible.

We want to enable you, as parents, to take the lessons your kids are learning in Sunday School each week, and bring them into your home. Below are some resources that will hopefully equip you to lead and disciple your kids at home, alongside what they're learning in Sunday School.

Summer & Fall Memory Verse

Throughout our "Kids of the Kingdom" summer programming, and through the Fall, we will be memorizing Ephesians 1:11-14 with the kids. We want to equip and encourage your family to memorize this all-together. Click the link below for videos that break up Ephesians 1:11-14 into three different parts of memorization.

Trinity Kids Take-home Resource Booklet

To enable you, as parents, to talk through the lessons your children are learning each week in Trinity Kids, we have developed this digital booklet.

For every week of Trinity Kids this Fall, you can look up the Bible lesson your children learned including: the Bible passage to read together, the main point, the key passage, the group memory verse, a big picture question, the connection that Bible story has to Christ (called "Christ Connection"), family discussion starters and family activities to bring the lesson home.

Our hope is that you will utilize this booklet during family devotional time, as well as use it to be involved in what your kids are learning from week-to-week.
